Woman involved in heated RTA fight sentenced to jail

(Shaker Heights) – The woman embroiled in an RTA bus scuffle will spend some time cooling her heels.

Shidea Lane was sentenced Tuesday morning in Shaker Heights Municipal Court to three days in jail and was fined $250.

The court tells WTAM 1100 that Lane must also complete an anger management program.

Cell phone video captured Lane arguing with RTA bus driver Aris Hughes last September 18 before he delivered an uppercut punch to her face. Lane was found guilty of her role in June.

Hughes was previously sentenced to three day, $1,000 fine and anger management.

Hughes was also fired by RTA when the video went viral.
