A third term for Mayor Frank Jackson

(Cleveland) Well over 100 people showed up at the rotunda at Cleveland City Hall to welcome Mayor Frank Jackson to his third term of office. Jackson took the oath of office administered by Court of Appeals Judge Patricia Blackmon.

During the short ceremony Jackson gave a speech thanking the voters for allowing him to lead for a third term and promised to continue the initiative he began in the first term of "leaving Cleveland better off".

Jackson said he would continue his work on improving education, as well as helping the city's economy and stopping crime. He also spoke about the Healthy Cleveland Initiative, an effort to allow all Clevelanders access to affordable care.
