(Cleveland) – To mark the start of the new school year, Cleveland police have released a school safety plan.
The guide details a strategy of police presence, effective response to incidents, community policing and truancy sweeps and necessary elements of a security plan.
CPD says it will work closely with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and community partners for the safety of children.
The plan highlights efforts police are making to keep students safe, a well as information for parents.
The CMSD begins classes today (Monday).
