(Cleveland) - Republican National Committee Chairman Reine Pruebus has announced that their national convention in 2016 will be in Cleveland.
Cleveland getting the nod over Dallas looks to make an impact on the 2016 presidential election.
Cleveland beat out Dallas to host the convention and anticipates this will draw tens of thousands of visitors and republican delegates.
This will give Cleveland a chance to enter the political spotlight and give Republicans in Cleveland a chance to reach out their focus.
The Quicken Loans Arena is expected to host floor events for the convention, however a lot of money will have to be raised.
Cleveland.com reports, Cleveland needs to raise $55 million to $60 million to cover the costs of hosting.
