(Cleveland) - Some controversy swirling around Ed FitzGerald who is running for Ohio governor.
An electrician who said he was working early October 13th, 2012 in an industrial area of suburban Cleveland claims he saw a man parked in a Ford Focus with a woman.
The man has been identified as FitzGerald and the woman he was with was not his wife. Westlake, Ohio police released 9-1-1 audio of the man making the call, and of investigating officers.
In an interview with Cleveland.com, FitzGerald contended there was nothing inappropriate going on. He was simply a designated driver for the woman who was part of a delegation visiting from Ireland.
Fitzgerald has been married for 23 years to his wife Shannon and they have four children.
