Geauga County drug raid biggest sheriff has ever seen

(Chardon) - Geauga County sheriff Daniel McClelland says a raid of a home in Newbury Township this week led to the arrests of four adults---and the discovery of a cache of drugs with a street value of $1.5 million.

Sheriff McClelland says it's the largest he's ever seen.

Deputies raided the home on Parkview Drive on June 11th.

They found one hundred pounds of marijuana, six pounds of crystal meth,1 kilogram of black tar heroin, $128,000 in cash, several vials of steroids and 10 firearms.

Authorities also seized six vehicles from the home.

The house is being boarded up.

Jacqueline Sanchez, 36; her husband Dominic Bangera, 43; Raymond Utt, 36; and Omar Salano-Lopez, 20, have all been charged with first-degree possession of drugs, but Geauga County Prosecutor Jamie Flaiz says additional counts are likely.

The suspects were arraigned June 13 in Chardon Municipal Court.
