Grand Jury Indicts 4 in Robbery Spree

(Cleveland ) - Cleveland – Three men and one woman have been charged in a series of 19 armed robberies committed between October of 2013 and March of this year, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty announced today.

A Cuyahoga County Grand Jury returned a 110-count indictment against Johnnie L. Harris, his sister Sharina Harris, Qwayvon Marshall and Devon Johnson, all of Cleveland.

Johnnie L. Harris, 21, was charged with 31 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 52 counts of Kidnapping, 20 counts of Having Weapons Under Disability, three counts of Felonious Assault and one misdemeanor count of Misuse of a Credit Card.

Sharina Harris, 33, was charged with six counts of Aggravated Robbery, eight counts of Kidnapping, three counts of Having Weapons Under Disability and one count of Felonious Assault.

Qwayvon Marshall, 24, was charged with six counts of Aggravated Robbery, 11 counts of Kidnapping and one misdemeanor count of Misuse of a Credit Card.

Devon Johnson, 21, was charged with eight counts of Aggravated Robbery, 10 counts of Kidnapping, one count of Felonious Assault and one misdemeanor count of Misuse of a Credit Card.

The State of Ohio charges that the foursome robbed restaurants, bars, pharmacies, food and general merchandise stores and individuals throughout Cleveland and in Lakewood, Euclid and Eastlake between October 13, 2013 and March 17, 2014. Shots were fired in at least seven of the hold-ups.

Police investigators from those communities worked with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office to piece together the case that led to this indictment.

All four defendants are in custody. They are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m.
