(Cleveland) - Democrat Ed FitzGerald and his new running mate Eric Kearney toured the state today in a number of campaign stops that included Cleveland, Columbus, and Youngstown.
In the race for governor, FitzGerald said recent polls are looking good, showing him even with Republican Governor John Kasich or slightly ahead.
Speaking at the Laborers 310 Hall in midtown Cleveland, FitzGerald said he picked Kearney because he wanted someone who shared his values, and the belief that government should work for working people.
