Lake County Animal Cruelty

Woman convicted after 88 animals were seized last October.

    This picture shows the kitchen of the home. Like every other room in the house, it was packed with garbage and clutter with cats every which way you looked.

    This cat was in the worst condition of all of the cats. He was very ill and was kept in a small rabbit cage that was filthy and cramped. He was missing all of his fur and could barely move. Sadly,he had to be euthanized.

    Humane Agent Jen Sperry and LHS worker Brittney Sanfilipo remove two of the dogs from a backyard enclosure. Urban (golden retriever) and Nina (Border Collie mix) have both since been adopted.

    Urban was one of the dogs from the case. He was left outside year-round and got little attention or care. Urban is a very sweet dog and he has since been adopted.
